Tired of Overthinking Everything? You Can Learn to Manage Anxiety

Do you replay conversations in your head, second-guess decisions, or spend too much time worrying about things that haven't happened yet?

Maybe you know your thoughts aren't always helpful, but telling yourself to stop worrying doesn't seem to work.

You're not alone. And you don't have to figure it out by simply thinking harder.

Understanding anxiety is only the beginning

Anxiety can leave you feeling stuck in a cycle of overthinking, reassurance-seeking, and avoiding situations that feel uncomfortable. Even when you understand your patterns, changing them can be difficult.

The good news is that our human brains are set-up perfectly to also learn new ways to respond to anxiety! As a therapist, this is where I got you.

Therapy teaches you recognize unhelpful thought patterns, how to step by step regulate overwhelming emotions, tolerate uncertainty, and build confidence in your ability to handle life's challenges.

Small skills can create meaningful change

Managing anxiety doesn't mean never feeling worried. As humans, worrying is part of our planetary experience and they will come and go throughout of life! I tell my folks that it's normal to worry about the things that we care about. In therapy I teach you how to effectively respond when worry shows up. I want you to be able to use your thoughts to your advantage, not have them drive you nuts and control you. Enter my "Jedi Mind School" as I jokingly like to call it =)

You might practice pausing before reacting, using grounding techniques when you feel overwhelmed, or making a decision without repeatedly questioning yourself.

These skills become more effective through practice, both in and outside the therapy room.

You don't have to do everything perfectly. Progress comes from learning what works for you and gradually applying it to everyday life.

You don't have to let anxiety call the shots

Imagine spending less time overthinking, feeling more confident in your decisions, and approaching difficult situations without automatically assuming the worst.

Therapy can help you work toward those changes with practical strategies tailored to your needs and goals.

At Kronen Counseling, I work collaboratively with adults who want to understand their anxiety, develop effective coping skills, and put what they learn into practice.

You don't have to wait for anxiety to disappear before you start living your life differently.

If you're ready to take that next step, I invite you to connect with Therapist Jessica, owner of Kronen Counseling to learn more about individual therapy.
